Google announced that It planned to shutdown
Google Plus in August of 2019 after a security flaw was discovered that gave unauthorized
parties access to user accounts and information. Google has since decided to speed up the shutdown
process and bring the social media site down in April of 2019. This time around, the names, email addresses,
ages and other personal information of the affected Plus users were exposed for six days
in this past November before it was finally fixed. No financial information or passwords were
